The demand for hydrogen systems, transport containers and refueling stations is growing rapidly worldwide. This is why Wystrach is once again expanding its capacities. Whereas the company has been able to produce around 80 hydrogen transport containers per year to date, this figure is set to rise to 200 from 2024. A new factory hall is being built for this purpose, which will start operations in the course of the coming year.

Deutsche Bahn chooses Wystrach for hydrogen refueling station
As a partner in the joint H2goesRail project, German rail operator Deutsche Bahn is trialing a green hydrail mobility solution. The system comprises a newly developed hydrogen-powered train together with a plug-and-play hydrogen refueling station. For the latter, Deutsche Bahn has chosen a solution from Wystrach.

Reallabor Hylix-B is converting a 26-ton truck to a fuel-cell drive system with tank system by Wystrach
As a systems supplier, Wystrach is providing the hydrogen tank system for the prototype, bringing its vertical integration and its experience with hydrogen applications to the table. The installed system comprises five 350-liter tanks, providing capacity for about 40 kilograms of hydrogen at a pressure rating of 350 bar.

Wystrach is bringing a mobile hydrogen refueling station suitable for numerous applications to market. The company, which specializes in high-pressure systems and hydrogen technology, presents the WyRefueler: a 350-bar hydrogen refueling system that can be used for trucks, buses, and trains as well as for vehicles on construction sites, in ports, or at airports.

H2-Share - Ziel: emissionsfreier Güterkraftverkehr
Die Wystrach GmbH wird zusammen mit namhaften europäischen Firmen Partner im Projekt H2-Share von Interreg Nordwesteuropa (NWE). Zielsetzung ist, die Entwicklung eines Marktes für kohlenstoffarme, wasserstoffbetriebene Schwerlastfahrzeuge für logistische Anwendungen zu erleichtern. Wystrach entwickelt hier Technologien für die mobile Betankung von Lastkraftfahrzeugen mit Wasserstoff. Das transnationale Modellprojekt testet Wasserstofftechnologie unter Realbedingungen im Kraftverkehr und soll Türen für den Einsatz unter Schwerlast öffnen.
